Come and enjoy a relaxed, fun, friendly afternoon learning a new skill. Previous experience is helpful but not essential.
On this afternoon group workshop you will learn the basics of reduction technique and produce a set of multi-coloured prints from one block.
We will cover… Using the tools and mark making, Selecting an image, Different types of Lino and paper, approaching a reduction print, transferring the image to Lino, Carving tips, Inking using water based inks, Printing by hand.
This workshop is for adults and accompanied children of secondary school age.
Numbers on this course will be kept deliberately low to allow for spacing and airflow.
Lovely countryside location with plenty of parking.
Use of all tools, paper, inks and other materials are covered in the course fee, and you will take home a set of prints on paper, plus your Lino block.
